What is the complete model # from the sticker on the range? I will need that so I can look into this for you. I will say that I have seen, in several cases, where the oven control gets a surge and fries after an element has broken.

With the oven OFF, check the resistance of the bake element with a ohmmeter on the lowest scale. Rx1. If your reading is infinate, replace the element as most elements will open circuit when they burn out. They don't short out.

Ok,if you knew enough to check resistance, and your meter showed an ohm reading, not "OL", then check to see if they both are getting voltage. If not, simply check to see if you are getting power TO the board, (I assume you mean the temp control board) and OUT. If power comes in, but does not come out, change the board. If you are not getting power to the board, check the high limit. (over temp safety)

check the sensor first http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Oven-Sensor/316490001/1259650 this site will help you,if the sensor is good then you have a bad clock assy. bad bake relay.if it's the sensor part number 316490001 and it's around 35 dollars or the computer board or clock assy. same thing part number 316557115 and that's around 85 dollars.you should also order the overlay too, this is the part you push on to set the oven and it's black the part number is 316419103 and it's around 25 dollars.unplug the machine, pull it out,you might have to remove the back panel, unplug the sensor and read it out with a meter, also there should be a tech sheet on the back top panel, read up on the sensor and it will tell you what it should read.hope this helps, good luck and have a great holiday
