You may have a virus or malware on your computer. Run a scan with a decent antivirus/antimalware programme (there are a few decent free ones available online such as Avira, Avast, AVG etc) and see if that finds anything.

Trouble with microsoft works 9 wanting to update my computer

Try a manual update, and manage yourself. Update only those needed. For instance languages that you don't use or have installed. Also, not so many at a time. Plus, it may show you failed update.

I bought acer aspire 3680 used had to do a system restore on it 2 weeks ago now it asks for windows password of prior owner which i dont have but i used this pc for 6 months wouldnt my windows passwor

If you can't change the setting in the bios setup that means you have a bios supervisor password set. If you don't know the supervisor password you can reset the supervisor with Acer Bios Master Password from http://www.unlockbiosrecovery.com/Unlock_Acer_Bios.php for only $20

In restore mode its ask for administrator password but my name is not showing up and i dont have a password

Hi, man. Don’t worry, there are many people forget their admin password or lost it, and there is a popular solution for those who have been locked out by computer. For this solution, what you need is a second computer that can connect to Internet and then freely download Windows Password Recovery 6.0 at http://www.recoverlostpassword.com/products/windowspasswordrecoery.html With it, you can create a reset CD which can be used to reset Windows admin password without erasing anything.

Supervisor password

A Supervisor password protects the system information stored in the BIOS. The user must enter the Supervisor password in order to get access to the ThinkPad BIOS Setup Utility in order to change the system configuration. If the Supervisor password is forgotten there is no way to reset it to enter the BIOS configuration. Setting a Supervisor password automatically sets the master Hard drive password. The following is the icon that comes up in the upper left corner if a Supervisor password is set:
A forgotten Supervisor password will prevent access to the ThinkPad BIOS setup utility. To regain access, the system will need to be serviced to have the system board and hard drive replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and this repair is not covered under the warranty.

Ibm thinkpad A30 2652

Some of the older thinkpad had a program you from the OS or a boot floppy to had to run to get change the bios settings. But the BIOS key on most is F1. So if you press that key as soon as you turn the machine on and anything appears on the screen, and once you've provided the password you can then change the password to blank within the bios.

If you don't know the password at all, there may still be a way to reset it, but it may require a call to IBM/Lenov, or some other tedious process.
