Question about Select Brands Washing Machines
After washing clothes there seems to be grease or oil marks on the clothes. is it possible that a seal under the spindle needs replacing?
It could be an indication that the main bearings are failing, or it could be an effect known as grease balling.
This is caused by washing at too low a temperature, or not using enough powder, or using the wrong type of powder.
If it is the bearings, then I would expect it to be getting noisy, particularly on the spin cycle.
Hope this helps.
