We have had our CLT2054 about two years now. We have the "screen flicker" problem that others have described in another thread, but only occasionally. We don't have the "No Power" problem, but we don't have sound or a picture. The power light comes on, and the channel selection shows on the screen, but the screen stays picture or sound.

When we select "Video" outputs, the screen turns bright blue and displays the "VIDEO 1" info, but still no picture or sound. Even the menu selections on the remote display on the screen.

It is clear that the video display is working, it just doesn't appear to be accepting any input from the board were all of the input plugs connect.

Anybody have a fix for this?

  • dcla1951 Feb 14, 2009

I have the same problem. The ac adapter won't fire up. There is no light on it. So how do I tell if it's the adapter or the tv? And, is there any way of checking the tv, to see if it works, without the adapter?

The original power supply is no longer available but you can get a replacment at part # 60w-12. You will have to change the plug that goes into the tv. The original plug has 2 wires. White(+) and Black(-). Be sure to observe polarity.

you can plug it in, see if there's a light on it, and also use a volt meter to measure the output..

Do not buy anything from LCDPayless. They are crooks. I order power supply for Protron 32". Their web page showed the same model as mine and they sent me some garbage that was not working. I returned it and they refused to reimburse me full amount. I contacted my credit card company and then they claimed they didn't receive it at all. STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY ARE THIEVES.
