Question about Sewing Machines
Thread jamming is usually not indicative of a problem with the bobbin itself. Just be sure the machine has wound the bobbin evenly and not all clumped in the center of the bobbin but evenly from side to side.
material will not advance this happens if the problem is with the blocked feed dogs are the feed dogs are getting cracked /worn out.
Remove your flatbed so you can access your bobbin area. Open the cover of the bobbin area. The shiny/bright components consist of the Bobbin, which snaps into the Shuttle Hook, which is contained in the Race.
Immediately right of the Race is a pewter/matte silver colored lever. Press the lower portion of the lever to raise the Feed Dogs. Pressing the upper portion drops the Feed Dogs, and is commonly used to accomplish free-hand applique work. This will help.
