You will have to remove the back cover, undo a couple of screws and gently prise the back cover off, once off, check the power board for a fuse, unpop it from the fuse holder and if you have or can get hold of a multimetre test it to see if it has continuity, if it dosent then that is your problem.

Also check the mother board for blown capacitors, these are barrel like in shape with silver tops, check for any brownish like liquid resadues on them or the board surounding the caps, also look for any capacitors with domed tops or slightly pretuding they should be completly flat at the top, if there are any they will need to be changed. if you need further assistance post back.

Sounds like you need a new control board. www.partstore.com . Probably under $200 and fairly straight forward to install. Let me know how you make out.

61uwx10ba. no power to any boards but power supply.

have you reched around the new soldering area carefully, check for solder spills or drops in the printed circuit, also another thing to look for is some of those replacement stk do not hold their weight, you might want to take them out and try the old ones to see if you recover tv power.

No pic. no sound

Hi, the clicking is coming from a bad ballast that is unable to power up at this time. you will need to replace the ballast in this set.

Test the power supply board for any additional issue just to be safe.

If i turn off my tv it wont turn back on

This problem is either the TV's software or how the mainboard is distributing power so instead of just unplugging the TV, try a power drain:
1. Unplug the product's power cable so the device is not grounded to the house. 2. Press and HOLD the product's own power button for 1 minute to drain the capacitors. 3. Plug the product back into a wall outlet and try to turn it on.
Note: This procedure works with battery operated devices as well so remove the batteries and hold down it's power/on-off button.  Electricity can remain in capacitors and on circuit boards enough to prevent normal functionality. By clearing the residue electricity, your product will have a fresh start and many times this will resolve a buggy or non-responsive device that appears to be dead.
Since hardware either works or it doesn't, your issue is either software or power related since you can get it to work so hopefully the power drain will indicate further.

My 32in sdtv red power light,no pic no sound

hi there, this may seem like a sstandard problem, but differs from mfg. to mfg. in the sony tv's it is usually an open cap in the stand-by power supply, since you werent specific in your problem, there can be many solutions even for a single series or group of tv's even within the same mfg. give me specifics and i can answer more precise. hope this helps even a little.
