If there is not cooling at all then your compressor may bot be running. If comp not running try the overload relays on the side of the compressor. Not too hard to do and worth the fix.

GE SIDE BY SIDE (GSS25LGM)SERIAL#GD425395 LIGHT IS ON BUT DOESNOT GET COLD HOW TO FIX IT

Hi,

Thanks for contacting Fixya.com

If you have a fridge with a working light, but no cold air, the first thing you should do is check the temperature setting to make sure it is set properly. Next, you will need to clean the refrigerator part known as the condenser coils. These are located on the back of the fridge, and these coils are a refrigerator part that gets very dirty. Cleaning them can restore lost efficiency, but you will need to disconnect the fridge first before cleaning this set of refrigerator parts. You should also insure that there is a three-inch dead space between the refrigerator and the walls near the unit.

Thank You

My westinghouse sid-by-side fridge is freezing

the mother board located inside the lower rear portion of the unit is bad,if you have recently had lights blow out this can cause a surge and ruin the mother board, also if there are relays clicking and lights are blinking dimly this is a good sign the board is bad

Hotpoint RFA52 fridge freezer

if you cant hear the motor/compressor running when energised then its likely to be a thermostat fault... but on energising the system if you hear a buzz then a click then its more seriously the main motor... turn off at mains for 5 mins then turn on... this should tell you either way

FRIDGE COMPARTMENT FREEZING

i had the same problem the sensor starts at the back of the pcb and snakes its way dow the back of the fridge into the freezer conpartment i ordered a new sensor thinking it was a temp sensor but turned out to be a defrost sensor compleat and utter hassel to fit due to the expanding foam i had to eventualy cut the block off that conects to the pcb and then reconecting it once i got the cable through the foam first 2 days seamed to work fine while there was nothing in it as soon as i put food in it again the fridge started to freeze everything again then about a week later it still ices up at the back the fridge but doesnt seam to freeze the food so much now so still unsure about it all
btw it was the exact same model and before i changed the sensor the light and the super light used to flash on and off
