Question about Microwave Ovens
If the microwave is turning on when you close the door, and stays on, even when the timer is off, then it is either a faulty control board, or a contact in the wiring harness.
If the controls are responsive, but fan stays on when you shut the door, then it is definitively a wiring problem. If controls are not working at all, then the control board may also be responsible.
The wiring harness is part 20 on diagram below, here the part: PS942098 . The Latch is part nr.2 PS2160550
On control assembly, before replacing the pcb (part 7 in diag), the control pad ( part 12) can also be tested, disconnecting it , and starting the appliance with magnetron not connected. For safety reasons this test must be done by a trained technician.
Here all parts and diagrams for your appliance.
For safety reasons testing and repair must be done by trained personal.
Before repairing, I suggest contacting Samsung to get a quote on repair. The contact number is listed on the use and care manual.
