Question about Televison & Video
Soniq 42inch plasma TV, after turning off it sometimes turns itself back on, also it now freezes up most times when its turned on either by the remote control or buttons on TV. I turn it off at the wall plug then turn it back on and most times it resets the TV somehow and lets me turn it on normally again, I guess I need to replace 1.8 volt regulator on image pcb as mentioned in this forum, where is this pcb in the TV? How much should part cost in Australia? Or is the fault something else all together?
$180 for local service repair man to replace the start up / power up circuitboard on my Soniq 42" Plasma TV. He mentioned if I'd kept using the TV any longer with this fault that it would have damaged a secondary circuitboard obviously then costing more to fix.
So anyone with a similar problem should stop using their TV asap to avoid further damage.
