Remington 1v hampton bay transitional collection 52 remote control 740125

My studio purchased 3 fans all with the same model number from the same store. The contractor said the numbers match but the fans are different one has a different light socket amoung other things but our main problem is he set all three modules the same but only two fans react the same. If you increase the lights two will get brighter as one will get dimmer and so on. He says I need another module to match the other two. The Yoga studio is up and running 7 days a week and because the ceiling is 14' high this has become a costly problem the lights and fans are a necessity tjo stay in business, I need tlhem working now they're brand new.

SOURCE: Installing ceiling fan with two switches AND a remote

I have a hampton bay ceiling fan with light fixture all connected to a wall switch and controled by a remote. The light does not work any more and I have replaced the bulb with three different light bulbs and it still won't work. There is a green wire coming off the bracket but there is no ground wire coming in from above. There are two wires coming in from above ( the box in the Attic)
one white and one black and they are connected properly. All the wires are taged from the remote receiver, the fan and the light and are correctly connected. Any suggestions?

The best place to start with would be Home Depot. Since it is only a couple of weeks old you should have no problem exchanging it. This is their brand. They have a very liberal return and exchange program which should help you out.

I'm pretty sure that home depot does sell remotes for that brand, although you may have to buy a new receiver to go with it. Otherwise try a lighting store near where you live. They seem to be able to order things like that.

I just figured it out. So the mountaing plate, has a piece that protudes down, which you slide the ball into to hang the fan. Well, you can slide the receiver INSIDE the MOUNTING PLATE right above the ball... as long as the ball is inserted correctly, there will be enough space. The ball has a vertical slot, which needs to have the tab from the mounting plate resting inside of it.

Hampton Bay 52 In. Clarington. How do I reverse the fan?

Try these two: 1) look for a small switch up near the light area on the dark-colored area of the fan. If a switch is there, then simply flip the switch to the other position; 2) if you have a remote control for the fan, the reverse mode may appear on the remote control. Hope this helps.

Electricians can be so much fun can't they ? LOL I would ask the electrician to bypass the remote to check the fan operation first. You need to know if your problem is the remote or the fan itself.. A simple wiring change in the junction box can be done to determine which issue to focus on.. Hope this helps..

You must use the switch on the fan itself.

It slides in above right above the ball, in the mounting bracket where the canopy is. You may have to kind of encourage it to go in there, and you will need to push wiring off to the sides and out of the way to help it have clearance to get in there.
