Hello,do you know what would cause the following problem in an Electrolux Cooker,MODELNO: DD061, PROD NO: 948522135, SERIAL NO: 42900006. THERE IS AN ODD TASTE OFF THE FOOD WHEN COOKED IN THE MAIN OVEN?

The appliance is electric. I've phoned Electrolux and they have not come across this problem before. They advised for the appliance to be cleaned really well, especially the vents at the back of the oven. This has been done but makes no difference. The oven was switched on for 2 hours as well on high heat to make sure the stay clean liners were cleaned well but unfortunatly problem still there. The taste of the food is metallic. I'm at a bit of a dead end now I'm afraid.

Is it a gas range?are you getting soot? you need to look at flame while unit is on, remove oven botton to expose the burner, easy!!!! 2 screws on back inside over and pull bottom up. shut door turn on range and look at flame if it is yelolow and long flames you need air ajustment at burner, inside very bottom door you will see the air shutter, open it a litttle if falmes are yellow and long and test it again.

Error: F 10

Hello,
That model number does not seem correct but error code F10 on the Electrolux ovens relates to a faulty power board. If that Serial is correct then it is still covered in the 12 months full warranty.

Hope that helps.

How do i turn the fan off.

Hello,
If you mean the oven fan that will turn off on control switch.I think you may be talking about the cooling fan. This is to cool the electrical panel on the top front of cooker. It comes on after the oven heats up and may stay running for 15 or 20 minutes after cooker is turned off it will turn off after the unit has cooled down sufficiently for the controller.
Hope I helped.

Good Luck.

I need to clean between glass plate and oven door on my Zanussi electric cooker. I have drips where I've wiped the door over, also there is dust in between. Model ZBF 360W, Serial 61705615, Prod. No....

Hi,

The following worked on my zbf360x built in Zanussi.
First you need to remove the oven door. To do this open the door half way. On each hinge there are two small metal flaps. Lift both of these. Now with the door still half open pull hard on the door. You will find the hinges spring and if you release the pull now it will just spring back. When the hinges spring give an extra hard pull on one side and then the other each hinge should pop out.
Once you have the door off just remove the small screws on the bottom of the door to allow it to hinge open and clean the inside glass.

Hope this helps,
