I have the KV-34HS420. It will randomly turn it's self off. Sometimes after hours of use other times right after it is turned on. When it turns off the standby light blinks 7 times. When I turn it back on it sometimes stays on awhile sometimes turns right back off. I have tried the reset and replaced the remote batteries without sucess. Any help?

7 times blinks shows that Horizontal Deflection Circuit doesn't work properly.
I think, its not big fault and can be resolve in low cost at nearest Sony repair shop.

I have a similar problem. it seems to revert to a standby mode only after 3 seconds from turning on. only after hours of trying to turn the power button on repeatedly, does it eventually stay on.

I am having the same issue. My TV fades and turns off. The LED blinks 7 times.
Has anyone successfully got this issue fixed? How much did it cost?
