Does it look any different when you put the memory card in the camera, then plug the usb into the camera and the usb on your computer and open the file?...You could open start, open "my computer", choose a disc that resembles the name of your camera orso. If you can't find anything familiar looking, then just open all the discs one by one, skipping dic marked (c), thats usually the harddrive, till you find the disc ( (f) or (e) orso) that is your camera memory card....Please update me and I'll see if I can help any more...good luck!

If you turn off the camera to quickly, after taking a picture, you may damage the file-structur. Use a file-recovery program, like
http://www.pcinspector.de/
to recover your files. After that, format the card in the camera, and you should be good to go. Take a few test shots to check the function. Be careful not to open the battery door or close the lens cover while the busy light is still blinking.

SOURCE: i need to save pictures to my memory card how do i

Your user manual will tell you how to set that. If you do not have a user manual, go to:
http://www.download-manual.com/shop/Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-LZ2-Digital-Camera-Manual-pr-173.html

If that doesn't work, there may be a defect in the camera.

SOURCE: A550 Polaroid displays memory full

To get the memory card to work you must first get rid of the pictures stored in the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

Memory card full empty

first you should save the pictures to a computer. After you delete them they are gone forever.
But the view menu, you just press the menu button. In the most left tab, the third line is a bin. goto that line and press the arrow to the right. Then you can chose what you want to delete. Only one picture, pictures with a certain date, a folder or even all pictures.
it is in the English manual on page 101 and 102

Has there been any problems with the USB cable fitting into the camera? Mine was very tight, and it did work, now it isn't working and seems alot looser, any suggestions??

One suggestion: consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I cant find the DCIM folder in my polaroid camera

The camera will create that folder on a memory card when you use it. Do you mean you can't find that file on the card or when you plug in the camera with no card in it?
If it isn't on the card, in the menu options of the camera you can format the card and the internal camera memory, save your pictures first of course.
Formatting the internal memory of the camera and taking a picture should restore the DCIM folder.
And make sure the SD card is unlocked, there is a little slide switch on the side of it.

FORMATTING WILL ERASE EVERYTHING SAVE YOUR PICS FIRST!

If you cannot find the DCIM folder you may still have pics stuck on the card and/or camera, look into file recovery before you format anything.

I also do file recovery by the way.

You need to format the card in your camera using the camera's format feature (look for it in the menus). Note that this will also erase the card, so only do such after saving any pictures that you wish to keep onto your computer's hard drive.

The memory card is full, it says, and I want to know if it can be removed to insert another, empty one, and how to do it. My computer is not running the XP system so I cannot download them. thank you

Just turn off the camera, remove the full card, and insert the empty card. For best results, format each card before use.

How do i put my camera pictures on my compter?

IF YOU BOUGHT THIS CAMERA NEW, IT SHOULD HAVE COME WITH A CABLE THAT IS USED TO CONNECT YOUR CAMERA TO YOUR COMPUTER. THE CABLE IS CALLED AN " AV/USB CABLE UC-E12 ". IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS CABLE YOU CAN FIND IT ON EBAY OR FROM THE NIKON ONLINE WEBSITE AND IT DOESN'T COST VERY MUCH. THIS SHOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM. YOUR USER MANUAL SHOULD HAVE INSTRUCTIONS AS TO HOW TO CONNECT THE CABLE TO YOUR CAMERA AND THEN IT JUST PLUGS INTO ANY EMPTY USB PORT ON YOUR COMPUTER. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP, REPLY TO ARCLIGHT1217. IF THIS HAS BEEN HELPFUL, PLEASE RATE, THANKS!
