Question about Toys

When I click my Maxi-Cosi into the Easyfix, it seems like it doesn't lock completely. On the one side the indicator is green but on the other it is only half green and the Maxi-Cosi wobbles a little bit.

I saw the video which shows how to setup the Easyfix. This has been set up already and works ok. The problem is in the connection of the Maxi-Cosi to the Easyfix. It locks on, but not completely, as if the locking mechanism is a bit off. Have you had other such complaints? Might it be that I just have a disfunctional Maxi-Cosi? Thanks

Watch you video below on the mounting. It says that the light will go green on one side or the other.

Sounds like you got a defect. I would take back for an exchange.

The Maxi Cosi CabrioFix carseat can be used with the EasyFix or the FamilyFix base (both fitted with IsoFix)

In the event that the seat will not click into position on the base it will need inspection / repair work.

If you're in the UK and the product is under 2 years old, please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase and they can arrange for it to be sent to our engineers for inspection / repair work required under warranty.

If you're in the UK and the product is over 2 years old or you no longer have proof of purchase please contact the customer care team on 01284 413 141 Mon-Thur 8.30-6.30 / Fri 8.30-4.30 (Excluding Bank Holidays) to discuss booking it in for chargeable inspection / repair work required.

Does maxi cosi cabriofix easy base require anything to be removed from it before fixing it? we cant find where the button is that fixes it to the seat

Hi

Can you clarify - what button are you looking for?

The EasyFix base is fitted into the vehicle using the IsoFix points OR the 3 point seabelt. (Never both) The carseat then clicks onto the base and the metal rods on the underside of the CabrioFix carseat are grabbed by clamps on the base.

Indicator lights on easyfix base cabriofix not clicking in to place

Hi
This would indicate that the carseat is not correctly installed onto the base or that the base is not correctly installed into the car on the IsoFix points.

Can the isofix easyfix base be used safely without the isofix guides, ours are missing, thanks.

Good Afternoon

The yellow plastic IsoFix guides are for assistance only when fitting the unit and make no difference to the performance. If you are able to fit the base so the indicators go green it is fine to continue using without the guides. Alternatively if you need replacement guides they can be ordered via your retailer or direct from our customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30.

Which car seat fits the Quinny zapp

Hi, all the maxicosi carseats will fit onto the zapp using the adaptors that come with the zapp pushchair (but not the newly rebranded bebe loola).

The difference between the maxi cosi cabriofix and the ordinary cabrio or citi is that the cabriofix can be attached to the maxicosi in-car seat base (easybase or easyfix), whereas the cabrio and citi can only be fitted in the car using the cars seatbelts, they wont attach to the incar base. Hope I have helped a bit x
