These have unique codes and it's in your paperwork. Same goes for GPS systems. If you lose that info you are out of luck. It's a way to keep robbers from stealing this kind of equipment.

Hi, I desperately need the code for my Blaupunkt Nashville CM40 tape deck. The battery died and it needs the code and I lost the paperwork somehow. If anyone has it I would be massively appreciated as...

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

I change car battery and I need radio code 4 acura mdx 2002

Have to get the code from the dealership. If you bought the car new, it should be in your paperwork or glovebox. (it's not in the manual) It has separate paperwork or card. Although the manual may have a phone # you can call. If you bought the car used, just call your local acura dealer. Some radios actually have to be pulled and sent to a factory auth svc ctr to get the code. Sorry for the bad news! Hope this helps...

Are you using the factory wires in the VW to install the stereo? You may have to re-wire the speakers and power, ground wires, etc. with new wire. In a car that old, the wires are probably in bad condition - especially where you can't see. Hope this helps...

Radio code for 1992 bmw 325is

I have a 1987 BMW 325iC. The radio code was in a radio manual. It says right in the manual that if you don't write the code down, the radio is worthless without it. My battery died and I had to put the code into the radio. It started working again. That is why I wrote the code down everywhere I could think. I am going to engrave it into the front of the radio.
If you don't have the 5 digit number anywhere around the car, or in it's paperwork, you are SOL!
