Does it happen from every word-document? This is a postscript error. It can be in your document (you can test it by making an other document in word and print it. If it comes out properly, than you have to look for components like photo's, pictures, graphs in your document that causes the problem.
It can also be a problem of your driver. In that case you need to uninstall and re-install your printer again.
It can also be a memory problem of your printer. Please turn off your printer, wait a while, than turn it on again and see if it is still the same problem.
I had this issue and contacted epson support. They had me open the top to access the cartridges and physically slide the cartridge from its resting place over to the other side and and there was a small piece of paper that got caught in a print and was between the the ink and the cleaners. I then needed to physically move the cartridges back to the resting place and then close the top. Then on the printer, go to the menu and clean the nossels and the test the cartridge. if the lines are broken at all or you dont see words at the top of the test page, then clean the nozzles again. complete this and print a test page or copy. I was good to go.
Is this an analog or digital copier?
Multiple things could cause what you describe.
To answer your question rubber rollers can be cleaned with soap and water and a damp cloth.
Hot rollers cannot be cleaned and should be replaced as the teflon coating has failed.
Organic drums should not be cleaned with a cleaner but just a clean dry cloth.
I would look at your mirrors(under the glass) if there is dust on them it will darken your copies and could cause lines.
If it is digital print out a counter if it is a good print the your problem is dirty mirrors and / glass
A solid line sounds like a jet (in the print head) always on. Replace the print head (<$50 on eBay).
A white line (no ink) sounds like a clogged print head or a burned out jet. Replacing the print head will fix either one. If it is clogged, you might be able to clean it but this procedure is complex (soaking or special cleaners). Read about cleaning in other posts.
2 Screen prints are not directly sent to the printer. They are copied to the Clipboard - you must open up another application which can access graphics - WordPad , Word, Excel. E.G from wordpage paste the screen print (using Control + V or Edit-> Paste) and the contents of the clip board will appear in the document - use the print option from wordpad to print this graph to your HP 1010 printer.
