Saeco Incanto Classic No coffee is coming out with the grinder on, but it is working when I make preground coffee, slowly but still working. I tried with everything what is recommended by the manual but still nothing. The pump does not start after it greed?s the coffee, it seems to be pressure but nothing happens and it stops. I have had the machine for 2 months and it is having the same problem from the start. Hot water and steam is working good.

Try cleaning the coffee grinder check out the valve which gets open to let the coffee pass from the nozzle.but if that valve is not functioning properly then it will not get opened and remain closed so coffee will not pass and get blocked or the nozzle is getting blocked by coffee residue. check out.keep updated.thanks.

For future reference the Manual for the DBM-8 is here:

http://www.cuisinart.com/share/pdf/manuals/dbm-8.pdf

Available parts:

http://www.cuisinart.com/parts/coffee_bar/dbm-8.html

Here is another site for parts; they do not list what you are looking for but you can make an on-line inquiry for parts.

http://www.abtecparts.com/cuisinart_grinder_DBM8C.htm

Parts Inquiry:

http://www.abtecparts.com/parts_enquiry.htm

Unlike many appliance makers Cuisinart does not have an on-line search function for service centers. If they could not name one you might try contacting some small appliance repair shops; if not able to help they may be able to direct you.

There is a main switch on the lower left side, as well as a standby switch on the front. Make sure the main switch is on, and the press the power button on the front. It will warm up & be ready to make a cup of coffee (about 30 sec.) when you select one of the coffee (cup) buttons.

It seems withthis model you have a 1 year or 4000 cups warranty with this.
If you are within this, then give them a call - here is the Manual if you don't have it -
MANUAL -

I suggest you start by removing the beans in the hopper and wiping around to remove oils.
Then refill with fresh dry beans.
Plug in and set up as normal
Set to brew a standard large cup - and adjust grinder to coarse setting while grinding.
Do not adjust with grinder quiet - it must be done while rotating.

Make at least 10 cups this way at the coarse setting.

I think what has happened is that damp beans (frozen or cold) have entered the unit and caused the coffee to gum up at the top of the burr.
This will just push fresh beans out of the way instead of starting to grind them.

If you use dry (light loast) beans, it doesn't seem to happen as much.

Just ake sure you refrigerate most of your stocks, but keep a small stock at room temperature in an airtight tin to prevent this kind of thing.

You can actually push down on the bean stack slightly with a wooden object while the grinder is running if nothing moves on the coarse setting to get things moving.
