SOURCE: How to install new blade in buck Bros keyhole saw

There is a slot at the back of the blade. Bent the blade out enough to clear the notch in the handle and fold the blade down.

I have a Felker Tile Master saw and was told there is a button to hold to change out the blade. I assume this locks the motor. I can't seem to find it. Need help!

It's called the shaft lock. I attached a pic of a Felker manual diagram. Your saw will be the same or similar.

How the h... do i cabnge the blade on the bosch 1582 cutter ??

I am assuming you are asking because you have a CLIC system.

Bosch uses a tool-less blade changing system for its jigsaws that it calls "Clic." The system makes changing blades fast and simple. With the simple blade changing you get with the Bosch jigsaws, it is no problem to change out a dull blade.

REMEMBER: SAFETY FIRST LAST AND ALWAYS!!!

Make sure the saw is unplugged or the battery is removed.

If you have a blade in there:

Hold the saw over a work bench and push the ejector lever to the center of the front of the saw. There is a center stop; you will feel it. The blade will eject and fall out

Insert the new saw blade into the plunger until it latches into place. The teeth should face toward the front of the saw. The back of the blade should rest in the groove of the guide roller. The plunger and the guide roller are between the body of the saw and the plate

If the blade will not go into the plunger, check the positioning of the slots in the blade. They should be at the top. Push the ejector lever and try again.

Give the blade a yank to check that it is firmly seated. Plug the saw back in or replace the battery and proceed with the cut

Use protective gloves when handling blades. They can be sharp and can be HOT.

I hope this helps

How do you change the saw blade on a kobalt keyhole saw?

You'll need a flat head screw driver and a pair of protective gloves. This saw resembles a gun. There are 3 key points to review. The first is in the front of the saw, there are 2 pivot points (one sits on top and other is on the side). They resemble dead bolt locks. The second point is in the middle, and resembles a round button. The last point is towards the back of the gun, sand resembles larger dead bolt lock.

Put on your protective gloves.

The change the blade, place the saw, blade side up on a steady surface. With your left hand, hold the saw blade down. Use the screw driver with your right hand and wedge the screw driver between the last point and the blade. Push down on the screw driver to create enough leverage to push the blade forward, past the final point. The blade will shift out of position, beyond the current locked position, and release the blade. It may need a little push, but it will eventually pop out of it's current position. Be careful when it unlocks, my saw blade flew across the room! Hope this helps.

Mt 18 inch horizontal band saw is not cutting square

Thicker metal shows greater blade / saw adjustment errors. A simple 1/64 or 1/32 wont show much on an 1/8 thick piece of metal when cut.
Those numbers will double quickly as the cutting blade travels through thick metal.
Metal band saws seem to be trickier to adjust and fine tune because the blade seems to be twisted into the roller guides.
The downloaded manual for the saw that looked most like mine at grizzly.com helped my adjustments a lot.
The saw quality is also a factor.

Instructions to install blade on circular saw

Once you have the right size blade it is really simple to change it.
You only really need two things.
1. locate the button that locks the spindle. It is usually located on the body of the saw. Your manual can show you a picture of it.
2. You will need a 3/8 drive socket that fits the spindle bolt.
I believe these are standard thread orientation and come off counterclockwise.

My husband has a BLACK & DECKER JS515 VARIABLE SPEED JIG SAW WITH QUICK CLAMP 3.5 AMP which i accidently broke the blade on...i cant figure out how to change the blade..any help would be greatly...

Here is a link to the instruction manual, and just under the place where it says Save These Instructions it tells you how to change the blade.
http://www.dewaltservicenet.com/documents/English/Instruction%20Manual/90520882,JS515.pdf
Fitting the saw blade (figure A)
- Hold the saw blade (9) as shown, with teeth facing forward.
- Push the lever (3) downwards.
- Insert the shank of the saw blade into the blade holder (10) as far as it will go.
- Release the lever.

There is a little lever where the base of the blade fits into the holder that you depress to release the blade...You can see a picture of it in the manual.

I hope this answers your question...if so, please take a aec to rate this post...thanks.

Need to change saw blade, lost instructions

1st, !!UNPLUG the saw!! Wear gloves to prevent nicks from contact with the saw blades.
If this is a handheld 'skill-saw' type saw, use a piece of wood to chock the saw blade from turning as you use a proper size socket/wrench to loosen the bolt which holds the blade.
The bolt will loosen counter-clock wise. It will probably be very tight, and you will have to use some effort to loosen it.
Remove the bolt, lift the follow guard and remove the blade.
Replace the blade with a like size diameter blade by raising the follow guard, inserting the blade, replacing the bolt, using a piece of wood to keep the blade from rotating and TIGHTEN the bolt. You will almost feel as if you need three hands to accomplish this procedure but its been done millions of successful times.

Good luck. :)

I have a bosch jigsaw I purchased at auction.I can't figure out how to change the blade

There are two types of "quick release" mechanisms on the new Bosch jigsaws, the twist-top handle found on 1587 models, and the lower-lever found on the 1590's.
The "twist-top" is the black cap on the 1587 at the front of the saw. You must first put the orbiting control ( on the side of the saw ) to position number III. This releases pressure on the blade. Then you lift the black cap, rotate three or more turns counter-clockwise ( as seen from the top ) to release the locking mechanism. If the saw blade is cool, you can carefully remove it with a single one-quarter turn using your fingers. If the blade is still hot from sawing, use a pair of pliers, but be gentle. Hot blades can bend easily and jam.
The 1590 models are quite a bit easier. You still want to put the orbit control to position III to release pressure. But the quick-release is a simple flick of the black switch on the front face of the saw.
I still have my 30 year old Bosch with the screw-in blade holder. It still works and the saw still runs smooth as a sewing machine. If you are doing a lot of production work where you need to change blades frequently, the Bosch 1590 is the clear choice for quality and value. In thirty years of using Bosch tools, I have only had to do normal maintenance and had only one minor failure, which was the blade changing mechanism on the 1587 model. I broke it by tightening too far. SO, if you have a 1587 model, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. As it is, this non-warrantee repair only cost $16 bucks and took two days.
It should go without saying, but just to be safe I'll say it anyway... OBVIOUSLY, you should UNPLUG the tool when you are changing blades. Good luck!
