Ip 1880. green and orange light blink alternately but green stays longer at the third blink.cartridge also not moving. please help me.

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

If there is no bad sound in your printer, you may need to replace your ink cartridge of reset your printer.

Hi I have a ip100 portable printer and both green and orange lights flash. Green flashes twice and the orange light flash at what seems to be a random disorder.

Remove the cartridges, clean the contact points and heads using a soft brush (you can clean them using the brush dipped in alcohol or acetone or spirit). Reinstall them and switch on the printer. If the problem persists, try with another cartridge/s, it's also possible that one of the cartridge/s is/are bad and no longer usable. In that case, you'll need to replace it/them.

If the orange lamp blinking only it's the print head is not installed, or it is not properly installed.Open the cover remove the print cartridges then remove the print head and put back it on.If not help the print head is defective and need replace.
If the orange lamp blinking with green alternately it's ASF (cam) sensor error.The problem is in sheet feed unit.

6A00 is AP position error. Check sheet feed unit.In worst case the logic board assembly is defective.

When it blinks 4 times orange it means that your ink has run out. You should replace the ink cartridge.

the problems are :-

• cartridges are not recognised or installed
• there is a paper jam.

i need install canon ip1880.. how?

This is the REAL working method of manually resetting Canon ip1880 - ip 1980.

1. Unplug the POWER cord.
2. Press & hold the power button.
3. Connect the power cord WHILE holding the power button.
4. Keep on holding the power button for about 30 seconds.
5. Release the power button. The printer should be turned off.
6. Turn the printer on and that's it!

NOTE: You have to do this every time you turn on your printer. Or you will get the waste pad full error.
