Question about Televison & Video
Bought a new VCR/DVD combo. Have TV with cable but no cable box. No place to attach co-ax cable. Bought RF converter. Now can record but not watch tv while recording or even if VCR power is on.
Hard to believe you do not have any "F" connectors on the VCR/DVD. What brand is this? You should have inputs and outputs for separate composite and audio. Using phono cords with male ends you should be able to go to and from your television for recording and watching. It will mean alot of changing to go from one mode to the other but should be doable provided your tv has composite in/out. Your owners manual should show a diagram to hook the unit up this way. If you get stuck email me and I'll try to walk you through it. Give me as much info as you can on inputs and outputs. Let me know.
