Sound driver unistall and how to restore sound driver

Go to Control panel > Add Remove programs (locate the audio driver installation) > click Uninstall (Remove).
The presently installed audio driver will be removed from the system.
Reboot the System
Right-Click 'My Computer' icon.
Click 'Properties'.
Click 'Device Manager'
Click on 'Sound and Game controllers'
Right click 'Audio device'
Select 'Update Driver'
That's all. The audio driver will be re-installed. If you have the Driver CD of the audio card, just put it into CD driver, before doing this. If you have internet connection, connect it too. If so, the system will audo-search for the audio device, and will install it automatically either from the O/S, CD Rom or by internet. [Before doing all of this, connect the system to internet, Insert the Audio Driver CD in the CD Rom (if you have it]

Driver Audio 5.10.00.6300

With your limited description I would think it is an operating system conflict in drivers. Go to the MB web site if the audio is on-board or to the audio manufacturer site if a card, and download the drivers which apply to your operating system. If there is an on-board audio system and you are installing a new one on a card you may need to go into the Windows Control Panel / Audio / Audio device... and select the right audio system for it to use.

What is audio driver?

Is a program that makes your computer talk to the audio device in it. Without one your aduio device will not work and you will not get any sound.
Most operating systems come with the audio driverm but occassionally you may have to download and install one yourself. If you add a new audio card to your computer, most likely it will come with a CD that contains the audio driver.
Audio drivers as all drivers must match the Operating system you are using (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit), OS X, etc...)

Hope this helps.
