thank you kishkane, will look into this. can you help with this. someone brought this montor to me with computer. my question is, is there only one plug for this or is there two plugs one that plugs to the computer for video and one that plugs to a ac outlet like other montors?? i wondering if they just didn't bring me all the plugs. i looked behind the montor and can't find a place to plug a ac outlet. i have never seen a montor that doesn't have it's own power supply??
thanks for all your help

thanks for your help. i see where the plug goes. only problem i don't have one. where did you get yours and how many volts was it. thanks for all your help
The LED light on the monitor flashes for 1/2 second then turns green for about 3 seconds, then repeats. The LED light on the power supply cord box stays green. I can hear the window chimes so I know it is trying to come up, but the monitor screen stays black.
Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages. Good Luck!

The socket for the AC power supply is located RIGHT ON the cord that plugs into your tower/graphics card. I just bought one today at the thrift store, ** power cord, but was looking for the input myself and found it there. Hope that helps.
