Suggest you load Spybot Search and Destroy at http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

Also run AVG 9.0 (free addition) http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage

Run Spybot first to make sure all the virus is gone followed by AVG. If you still can not print first ensure your printer is in ready state and online in printers - you may have to uninstall and reinstall your printer.

Keep me posted

Reinstall the printer from scratch.

If you need the drivers, see the attached link:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3390949&lang=en

Make sure you remove the previous printer from your printers and faxes folder first. Also get a good internet security product like AVG INTERNET SECURITY @ www.grisoft.com

It will protect your machine from just about any type of malware out there.

Why is there slow printing when I type from key pad to the computer screen

this will happen when your computer is over loaded , that is the memory is over loaded, when it is over loaded , the system hangs and makes every thing work slow. This is the right time for a virus to gain entry because the system will work slow that by the time the virus gains access , the system takes time to activate the antivirus or the firewall.
So i recommend you to clean up your PC and increase your system memory.

Thanks for rating Good luck

Computer hang when print command to tally

Do the following

(1)Scan and clean all the viruses in your computer with a good Virus Cleaning software
(2) Make sure your registry is clean with a good registry cleaning software
(3)Reinstall your printer driver

If this does not work you might need to repair your Windows. Just insert your bootable Windows CD/DVD and follow the instructions.

Good Luck!
