Problem for Camcorders

Generic problem for all Camcorders

Sony DCR-TRV38 Streaky while recording

While recording or in record pause the image is streaking the whiter (lighter) areas across to the left like it is overexposed. Also notice a slight flickering or pulsing as well. I put in a previously recorded tape and it played perfectly so it can't be the viewfinder.

- Note that the green screen video I posted has no audio by intent and not a camera problem.

- I use my TRV38 mostly to film football games. Last fall when filming under artificial lights I got streaks, initially I thought that it may be related to the lighting. however, I filmed with different camera in the same park without any problems. Season was over, I put camera away and didn't think about it untill today when I filmed indoor practice. Streaks are still there. With some daylight, images are unclear and appear out of focus. In my case also, old tapes playback OK.
