Question about Toshiba Satellite A45-S120 Notebook
Turned on laptop & mouse pad wouldn't move cursor. At bottom of screen shows picture of pad with the symbol for like, no smoking here, red circle with line going through. Have no idea how it got like that & can't release it. The icon doesn't let you open it up or anything. Can you please advise.
At same time my wireless remote stoped working-changed battery & still doesn't seem to pick up signal from USB piece.

I. “To “Enable” the Pointer Device using the Touch-Pad, go to, Control Panel, click (“Mouse”) in the “Hardware and Sound” category; go to, “Device Settings” in the (Devices) block.
II. “Highlight”; the item you want to (enable) this being the “Pointer Device.” Click the (Enable) button, just below. Be sure to (Click) on the “Apply” button, and click OK.”
III. You may need to “Update Drivers?” Click on “Hardware, click “Properties,” click, on Driver.” If the, Update Driver (block) is not “Grayed-out” click “Update Driver”, click (OK), this will ensure that the application take effect. Note: Restarting the computer will configure system changes in the computer applications to prevent errors, and to finalize the (Installing / Uninstalling) of programs, and or (Enabling / Disabling) of Hardware.
To setup the Internet Connection: To Start, go to the “Control Panel,” you want to open the “Internet Options” window. Click on the “Connections” block, click the “Setup” button, and follow all the instruction carefully. “Important! Always click “apply, ok, and restart the computer after making changes to the computer.”
