Hi, my gps nextar x3i-02 is not turning on, what can I do?

The problem with your nextar is either the battery or the charger is faulty. Either ways you need to test them both then replace the faulty part. That is why the gps receiver is not powering up.
Do not panic when your gps seems to be acting funny, There is no problem without a solution, and if it is beyond repair the solution will simply be that you replace the gps receiver.

Solution:
  1. Test the battery in another gps receiver, to see if it will power it on,
  2. Charge the battery in another gps receiver for about 2 hours with another charger then try to power it on,
  3. If it turns on, then it means the battery is okay and working fine, but if it does not turn on the other gps, then it means the battery is bad and need to be replaced.
Solution:
  1. Test the charger on another gps receiver to see if it will work.
  2. If it does not work then you need to replace it,
  3. But if it works then you do not need to replace it.
After carrying out the test, you will be able to detect the problem and solve it.
Hope this information helped.

Replacing memory battery garmin gps 75

The battery inside is a panasonic 3v Panasonic
Battery, Lithium, 3v, 190ma, Coin

884-0301 BR2032
You need a clip too
Keystone Electronics
Battery Holder, Coin-Cell; 20
mm; 0.896 in.; Glass Filled
Nylon; 1; 1 AWG

Remove battery pack. Open unit by the six small screws in the back. The coin battery is in the bottom right (mine had a blue cover) The original ones are soldered/pressed in. Replace with the holder and rewire. Cheers

Garmin gps III / internal battery replacement

March 2009 I replaced the solder type battery of my GPS III Plus with a battery holder (clip) that a “Basic CR or BR2032 Coin type battery”, without solder connections, that is, they simply clip into place. Replacement batteries can be purchased at less than a $1.00 of E-Bay.
