What kenwood model is it exactly? Do you still have the remote for it. They use a default password KCAR. Follow these instructions to enter.
When it asks for the code hold the DISP and press VOL up for 3 seconds.
The display will no change to the code entering screen. to enter KCAR follow these patterns. (just like a telephone pad)
5,5 >> (hit next track) K
2,2,2 >> (hit next track) C
2 >> (hit next track) A
7,7 >> (hit next track) R
press >> next track
display should show approved and you are done
