SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If everything else is working, hook a spare monitor to the video output, if picture okay! the inverter board just below the screen is more than likely faulty, or the backlight behind the display has failed, but if both show the same symptom it is the video graphics card usually built into the motherboard, I suggest a computer repair shop to address.

Computer will not turn on

Toshiba Satellite PSAFGU-00L002 is also known as Toshiba Satellite A215-S7437.

Power Button Board, for the Toshiba Satellite A215 series of Notebook PC's,

http://www.zkarlo.com/selected-zkarlo-part/power-board-p3326.php

The A215 series is just a fancier version of the A200 main series.
This is a pictorial disassembly guide for the A200/A205 series,

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a205/laptop-disassembly-1.htm

Follow Steps 1 through 17. You can click on any photo to enlarge.

1) Remove ALL power to the laptop. Remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery.

2) Use a multi-compartment container for the various screws you will remove. Label each compartment for the area the screw/s come out of.

If no multi-compartment container is available, you can substitute with a clean egg carton.
Label each egg holder.

SOME screws look VERY similar to other screws. DO NOT mix them up.

3) Follow Anti-Static Precautions.

Your body carries Static electricity. Static WILL fry out (Short Circuit), the delicate hardware components inside a computer.

It would be best to buy, and wear an ESD wrist str-ap, and have the alligator clip attached to a good ground source.
(I connect to an unpainted surface, of the metal frame of an open, empty desktop computer case)

{Electro Static Discharge. One example of an ESD wrist str-ap,

This is a link to a free Service Manual, for the Toshiba Satellite A215 series of Notebook PC's,

http://www.tim.id.au/blog/tims-laptop-service-manuals/#toc-toshiba

Scroll down a little to the subheading - Satellite A10. (A10 is in blue)
Scroll over, and click on the blue - A215

The service manual is in PDF file form. The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files.
After you click on the file name { A215 } it may take up to 30 seconds, before the first page comes up.

The page number box is at the top of the PDF file, to the right of the Down Arrow. The Zoom In, and Zoom Out icons, for viewing size, are to the right.
( +/- )

The Bookmarks Menu is to the left.
Page 179 starts the replacement procedure for the Function Button Board.

In the Bookmarks menu it is;
A) Left-click on the + sign to the left of - Chapter 4 Replacement Procedures
B) Scroll down, left-click on 4.20 Function Button Board

Display Assembly, Strip Cover above Keyboard, Keyboard, and Top Cover, need to be removed in order to access, and replace the Function Button Board.

You can click on each individual area, Keyboard (Page 152), and Display Assembly (Page 155)
Removal of the Top Cover is covered in Display Assembly.

From your diagnoses of the problem, I also concur with Function Button Board replacement. (Power Button Board)

Would appreciate if you would post back with your findings, in a Comment.

Regards,
joecoolvette

After I power the computer the system does not appear on the sceen

This can be a few things. The display could be out or the laptop is not running or the hard drive is acting up or even the operating system needs to be repaired or re installed.

If you see anything and then it stops it could be the drive or a software or os problem. If it does nothing and no display then you could have a memory or ma inboard problem. If it makes sounds like it is running but no display your display might be the problem usually the back light.

You need to describe what it does or doesn't do when you try to start it in more detail. Then someone will be able to narrow things down and give you a fix.

Hi, there are (4) areas to view to try, and fix the problem. 1. From the Desktop, click on the "Start button." 2. In the Search box, Type: modem. 3. Click on the Modem "item" that appear in the search. 4. You may be required to provide information, to "setup" the Modem. 5. Next, the location to go to is the "All Programs" start menu, click on the start button to open, scroll to find: the Accessories file, select to open the file. 6. View to see if you have the Windows Mobility Center; function, if so? Open the program. If not? Skip the action. 7. Next go to All Programs, scroll to find the "Toshiba" file, open the file, select Utilities, click to open; if you see the Toshiba Assist icon, open, and click on (Toshiba Hardw...), select the LAN button, and "check" the Wireless Communication Switch, (on / off), click, "Apply and OK!" 8. Go to the Toshiba file once again, and select; ConfigFree, follow all the instructions. 9. Click on the Start button, in the menu, in the (right, pane) select, Connect To: Follow all the instructions afterward. 10. "To finalize all applications, changes and "Updates!" Restart the computer" If this solution helped? Rating Feedback, is appreciated. "Thanks!'
