How can I reset a user profile on this game. I need to delete the name and everything.

From Google:

If you search Google for: "factory reset a PS3" you will find only 1,920,000 other results.

1. Start your ps3
2. Press triangle on the old profile
3. Delete the profile
4. When the old profile is deleted, it will say make a new profile

Go to the settings under MY NAME and type in R-E-S-E-T to erase everything and start over. That is the only way to remove a name!!

contact the game owners if they dont do anything about it then

• delete the game completely from your itunes profile and wait 30 days and make new acount
• if you have a computer do same thing delete it from profile wait 30 days and reload

doing this will make the owners forget your profile and it will be deleted also if you dont have the latest update for the game you may not reset it

I think from what you have said is simply the problem of User Accounts. Simply Open the User Accounts option from the Control Panel and go to Make changes to your User account and simply change the name of the User account. Put your name there instead of your friend's. Actually this wasn't a problem but a feature provided by the Windows so that many users can actually work on their own account on a particular system thus protecting the data from each other. There you go. The account will now have your name. The folder with your name will be shown in the start dialog or the desktop.

OK Midway (the manufacturer) say there is no method to reset the scores!

But...according to some this is possible:
You have to take out the game when it is saving, it might take a couple of times. You know when it has reset when you start the game up again and it has the "saving" screen between the opening logos. Your user profile won't be erased just your high scores. This might not be the best way of doing it but it appears the only way.

delete local user name in desperation, after removing the user name from the handheld and still not getting any results or ANY syncs, I launched Chapura Settings from My Desktop, deleted my user name, re-created my same user name, same spelling, and then everything worked first time every time. I have the latest Pocket Mirror PMStdUpdate3171.exe loaded on top of what came on the installation CD. to sum up, I deleted the user name from both handheld and PC and recreated it only on the PC, then sync'd with outlook 2003 without even a reboot. good luck
