Question about Mitsubishi WD-62525 62" Rear Projection HDTV

1 Answer

Hi, I'm seeking information on a power issue, I have with my HDTV1080 integrated Medalion series, Model #65869. My unit does not power up! I have a constant blinking green light that does not go away, even when I press the reset light, unplug the tv, etc. Any light you can shine my way, it would be so gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Frank

This is due to bad capacitors in the power supply. You can try to replace them yourself or call Mitsubishi for help. Check AVS forum with your model number for tips on a self repair

Looking for a repair/parts manual

Now a days only authorized service techs can access this information from Whirlpool's website directly. So with this being said, is the a specific issue you have or a general question you seek to be answered. Service manuals are not printed any more, all the information is in a form of specific problem and/or fault codes in which should be with the unit if you got this new. If not I can access this and get you a copy if this is what you seek.
Get back to me and I would be glad to assist you in needed.

Good Luck

Test temp sensor

Hi roggipe, I am happy to assist you. What exactly is your concern or issue the unit is experiencing? Are you seeking information on how to test the temperature sensor on your refrigerator? If so, may I please have the model number? You can typically locate the serial tag inside the cabinet on the left or ride side wall. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you and I look forward to your response.

I have mitsubishi 65" platinum series plus tv model WS-65869. the power green light continues to blink for three days know, and will not reset.

I am assuming the television is not powering up and the only thing it is doing is showing the blinking green light.

Unplug TV from the wall and see if it will reset itself.

If unplugging doesn't fix the problem then you need to find out what is causing problem. First thing to check are the fuses. Second thing to check is looking for burnt resistors or bulging on top of capacitors. Something caused the TV to enter so called safe-mode.

TV's carry alot of voltage in them so BE CAREFUL and UNPLUG THE TV.

If you are handy with a soldering iron then you can save yourself alot of money. An average service call & repair is $300-$450.

Orange glow coming from inside freezer back of freezer warm

HI. that glow will be the defrost element. If that element continues to glow for a long period of time, longer than an hour, this will indicate that there are issues that concern the integrity of the defrost timer, or adaptive defrost control board. I would advise to shut off the power to the unit for five minutes. this will rest all the control boards that exist in the units structure. re-introduce the power to the unit, after the five minutes are up. If the element continues to glow, continuously, this will confirm that the defrost module has failed.(stuck in the defrost position). replace the either the defrost timer, or adaptive defrost control board(depending on the model), if the reset did not correct the issue.

I have a HDTV1080 integrated Mitubushi TV.  Tried to turn on the tv but the timer green light started blinking and has not stopped and tv will not turn on.  What is wrong with this tv?

you gonna need some technical skills to replace the parts that are bad on your tv,but anyway check the power supply first, look for some swallen capacitors.and replace them that is going to be your first step.
