If you do not a duplexer, then the only way is to print one side then put the paper in the tray again and print the opposite side.

Usually the side you already printed will be face up in the tray

Need help to print brochures

Yes, I think it's best to print brochures from some online printing companies out there, especially now that you're running out of time. You don't have to go all through the trouble. Just specify what you want to do with your brochures and they will take care of everything. You can go and check this site: http://www.printrunner.com/brochure-printing.html Other than the gate fold option, they also offer other types of folding like half-fold, tri-fold, Z-fold, double-gate fold, double-parallel fold- and roll-fold.

Hi, Wonder can you help my printer keeps printing off test page everytime it is turned on. this is only happening since i changed the cartridge, never did this before. thanks

Hi,

Your printer is printing alignment pages, because the cartridge alignment was not completed since you replaced them. Follow the below steps to complete alignment.

  1. Turn the printer OFF and then turn back ON.
  2. Wait until the alignment sheet prints out fully.
  3. Place the alignment test page over the scanner glass.
  4. Press start color scan button.
  5. The printer "power" light will start flashing, indication the alignment process.
  6. After the printer stops flashing, turn off and then ON the printer. It will not print any test pages further.
We need to run alignment test every-time while we replace ink cartridges.

Riztech

Can't change copy mode on printer back to print? seems stuck in copy. Keeps print a page telling me it's not aligned. Has all these lines I'm sopposed to scan for best quality etc.

Hi,
i understand that you are facing some problem with your printer. Please follow the below steps to resolve your issue:

1. Turn off your printer and disconnect all the possible removable parts from your printer like cables, memory cards (if any) cartridges, etc
2. Fix them all back to position again properly.
3. Uninstall all the software and drivers related your printer from your computer and use the driver cd which came along with your device to reinstall back. connect your device to computer when prompted to do so while installing the driver.
4. If your buttons on the printer seems to got struck within, then try to pull them out carefully and don't make that to struck again inside until you give the printer to service for next time.
5. Please click the below link to read to the basic manual which guides you about the device operation.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01416716.pdf

6. whenever you connect a new cartridge or reconnect the existing cartridge then you may be prompted to align the print cartrdges. If prompted, you may be asked to take a printout. Read the instructions shown and provide proper reply to it by seeing to the printed pages ( normally colour and lines will be printed) as this will align your print cartridges and will produce quality prints from next time onwards.

i hope this solves your issue and let me know your comments.
Thanks

Not printing properly

Print heads need to be cleaned cause they are clogged which is why even replacing the cartridges is not fixing the problem.

If the printhead can't be cleaned then a new printer is in order.

Hi, replaced ink cartridge on Lexmark X2470. Now it goes as far as the "print alignment page" and freezes. Will not print the alignment page or any other page for that matter. Thanks.

Hello. The ink cartridge may not be seated properly in the carrier. Remove the cartridges from the printer. Close the cover. Clean the nozzles using a damp paper towel. Unplug the printer from the power source. Plug it back in after 10-15 seconds. When the printer asks for the cartridges, reinsert the cartridges. Also, make sure you're using the compatible ink cartridges for the printer. Let it print the alignment page all the way without cancelling it to align the cartridges properly. Hope this helps.

Printer will not align

Print cartridge

When the print cartridge contacts are dirty and the printer cannot detect/communicate with print cartridge.

Clean the contact points on the cartridges with a dry, lint-free cloth.

1. Open the top cover of the printer.

2. Remove the print cartridges.

3. Clean the copper-colored contact points on the cartridges with a damp, lint-free cloth.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to remove moisture from the contacts.

5. Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

6. Close the top cover.

7. Try printing again.

If you still cant communicate try with new cartridge .

Hope this help. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Hp 6280 will not print 2 sided projects

Thats correct, you need to flip the paper over and reload so that the printer will print the other side.
Just take the stack out of the tray and put it back in the loader and away you go.
You may have to press the continue key to carry on printing.
I hope this helps.

TROUBLE PRINTING BROCHURES

I don't think that this is a true Postscript printer and you may be asking too much of it.  When was the last time you aligned the printer?  I'd just go to Staples or Kinko's for the better quality work

G85 series prints crooked

From HP's site:

Problem: The print on the paper is skewed.

Solutions: 1. Slide the paper-width adjuster against the left side of the paper stack, and 2. make sure that the rear access door in the back is fully “locked”.

Alignment of photo paper

Borderless printing up to 8.5 x 24-inch using brochure and photo paper.

Are you using this specific paper? If so, it may be that the paper sensor is not detecting the paper edge properly. Does the printer act as if it is printing in the blank area?
