Question about Acer Computers & Internet
All my programs on my acer aspire 5732Z (i think that is what it is, thats what it says on a panle below the keyboard on the right hand side) have been converted to adobe acrobat, and i cant change them back. i also discovered that my erecovery management had been converted, so i can not reset to factory settings (i have a factory reset disk) what can i do?
First off, lets try a simple trick and see if it will work. Go to my documents, and look at the tool bar above in the window. Click on the tools button, and then click on Folder Options. When that window appears click on the file types tab, and here you can associate the file types with the file extensions to open and execute the programs. What you do is click on for example the DOC extension, and below click on the change button. A new window opens and give you the ability to pick the program you want to open or execute it with. If it's not listed in the top portion click on the browse button and navigate down the the actual programs exe file.
This would be my firs attempt. If this doesn't work, than post back and I'll walk you through the restore process.
