Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

It's frozen i turned my player on at the gym but it froze after that and i can't even turn it off. My computer says it's a malfunction and will not read it!!! HELP!!!! I love my MP3 player.

Or you could remove and replace the battery. Remove 4 screws on the back and nothing else

Ok first off, you need to hold down the power/menu botton for about 30 or so seconds. this will trun it off. then wait a few seconds and turn it on like you normally would. now it should work properly. if that ever happens again, just repeat these steps =)

You can't play a video on your Sansa Clip/sansa clip plus (based on pic you showed).
If your device is froze, press and hold power button untile device turn off (about at least 10 seconds); then turn it on and check it. If it's still frozen, turn it off again, plug it into computer and delete the video which makes it froze

Wait for it to drain completely!
Then charge the player and try using it!
It hapened to me once.....
But then it worked fine! :)

Just reset the device by using a paper clip, or safety pin.
The reset port is located next to the lock button...

Use a small papaerclip, pin, or other device and insert it into the reset hole until the GoGear shuts off. You may have to download the more recent version of the software for the device at www.usasupport.philips.com even after doing the reset.
