Need to upgrade the RAM to solve your problem. Check whether you have any free memory slots available? If not, remove the excisting RAM modules and insert new 1 GB Memory modules.

Revert back for more assistance.

Sorry for the delay.. I think you are already having 1GB memory,as mentioned in your description you told you have 750MB.. that means remaining memory is utilized by the onboard display adaptor.

You just need to ID the correct memory number for your motherboard or computer type, this information is printed on the RAM, just order the same number in the memory size u need, they just plug in and out of the board slots. here is the biggest supplier of memory modules, you can call them if you need more specific help.

Your 1st post was unclear as to what u wnated, here is the information on this motherboard

You have Three SDRAM DIMM sockets which support up to 1.5GB (500 MB per slot)
Your board uses a 168-pin PC133/PC100 non-ECC, unbuffered SDRAM memory.

It is best that you use matched sets, so 2 or 3 500 Mega Byte SDRAM's is ideal.

T2742 Desktop eMacine I want to upgrade the RAM from 256 MB to 1 GB. Can I replace the single 256 MB memory board with a single 1 GB memory board? Or, should I use two 512 MB memory boards?

    Maximum Total Amount is 1GB.

EACH ram slot's Maximum Amount is 512MB.

Note* If you only install one ram memory module, make sure it goes into Slot 1.

(On the motherboard it may have DIMM 1, printed next to the slot)

Slot one is closest to the Processor. The processor reads ram memory that is in Slot 1, first.
