Question about Brother LS2020 Sewing Machine
I absolutely cannot get my bobbin thread to come up! The upper thread isn't creating a loop to catch the bobbin thread in. Needle at the highest position, hold the upper thread with my left hand, turn the wheel toward me, needle goes down, then comes back up. No bobbin thread!!!!! What else can I do. I've re-re-re-threaded the machine countless times. Please help.
This is going to sound silly, but take out the needle and check that the flat side of the needle is facing the way the instruction books says it's supposed to. Unless the flat side of the needle is facing where it's supposed to for your machine (usually--but not always--to the rear, away from you), the upper thread will not make a loop.
(Cost me $85.00 to figure this one out.)
