Question about GE Washing Machines
My washer was only a year old, then i moved apartments. The washer wouldn't spin after being in the new apartment. I hired a repairman who was horrible at best... but he fixed the problem. Not long after he left the water wouldn't stay in the washer long enough to complete any cycle, it would just keep refilling and refilling wasting sooooo much water. What is the problem? and is it worth trying to fix again or should i just get a new washer?
Without a proper model number I would say you need to check the drain hose as if it is laying across the floor or if it is too far inserted in the stand up drain pipe, it will siphon out the water and keep trying to refill. Best off to call a reliable repair company such as Sears.
