When people ring me up they tell me they hear Girls Aloud singing on my phone & not a ringing tone waiting for me to answer. It confuses some because they think I`m in a club & won`t hear it so they just hang up.I don`t Know how it got there but could someone tell me HOW TO GET THEM OFF!! Thank you

In most cases, the ring tone callers hear (incoming ring tone) is controlled by your cellular service provider.
Try this first: (On the Internet) Sign-in to your cellular account. On your account page, look for a link that directs you to your incoming ring tones (or similar). There, you can change your incoming ring tone.
If you're unable to do that, contact your cellular provider's Customer Support. They can assist you in changing your incoming ring tone.
Here is the link to the user manual if you need it.
Unfortunately what callers hear is dependent on the phone they are calling from, not on your phone. You could concievably send them a mutimedia message when they call, but there is no way to automate this, and it would probably be too much trouble and expense to bother.
Wait a year or two, and it may well be that manufacturers start including this feature - it would require a slight modification of the communications protocols on the cell networks, but it probably would be popular. Good idea.
Hope this helps :)
Your ringing speaker may get damaged. You can open the cover of your phone and just press hardly where the ringing speaker is situated. Then check with any ringing tone if the ringing speaker is working or not.If its work you can contact a mobile phone service center and tell him to clean the connection of your ringing speaker and mother board.
Or you need to change the speaker to get rid of it
"Ringback" generally refers to the music people hear when they call your phone. You have to set that up thru Verizon (or other carrier).
If you're talking about ring tones (what YOU hear when the phone rings) that's easy. Look for a folder called "Rings" inside the Windows folder on your phone. If you put an audio file (wav, mp3, etc) in that folder, it will become available as a ring tone.
