I have moved my Sirius Radio. In relocating the antenna wire I put a very small diameter staple through the antenna wire. I did not move the antenna receiver at all. Now when I have hooked the radio b

If you have pulled the staple back out then that is probably not the problem. You can use a multimeter to check for continuity thru the cable. My guess is that you have something hooked up wrong.

I believe it can be fixed fairly easily. You'll need to find someone who had experience soldering. Don't use a novice for this. They will need to open the receiver up and resolder the connections where the antenna connects just behind where you are pushing to make it work. The wires are probably broken but sitting very close to where they are supposed to be connected. They will have to be stripped a little bit (insulation carefully cut away) to expose the wire conductor inside to reconnect and solder them. Make sure they use Rosen core solder, NOT acid core. Acid core is for plumbing and will eat the connections away. Rosen core solder is for electronics.

How does a audovox sirius pnp3 work, how to hook up in c ar

The cradle connects to the cigarette lighter connection for power. There is a connection for the Magnet mount antenna which sticks to the roof. The radio can output a radio frequency signal which you can tune your fm radio to receive. It has a number of frequencies to choose from so you can try to find one that is quiet and works best.

Can i get a car kit for my audiovox sir-pnp3 144-2453 receiver?

There was a car kit and a boom box that were made for the sir-pnp3. I do have both. It allows one to move the radio from the car to a home.
Search for the sir ck3 adapter. It is available on amazon.

My radio is showing aquiring can i get it fixed

I heard these have a common problem with the antenna line breaking within the radio. I had it happen and replaced the radio. It's a shame since I'm sure I could have fixed it. I think it happens if the radio ends up hanging from the antenna lead. Any electronic tech or engineer should be able to check continuity from the antenna jack and find/fix it.

I have good antenna strength but no programming.

The tuner is bad. The antenna miniport on your tuner has either a broken or cold solder joint and therefore will not receive. If it's under warranty, they will replace it, if not, you can buy the tuner re-built on Ebay for around 50.00 and is better than new. Hope this helps
