The batteries you bought are not an exact replacement. What is the number stamped on the original battery? Buy batteries with the same number. If they are a different brand, google "(insert original #) equivalent" and it should give you information on correct batteries of different brands to buy.

Ok first you pull out a pet you want to keep second you click on the button beside their name (blue or pink/ cat or dog) beside your pets picture should be a button that says pick a pet above family tree click that and choose the pet you wish to get rid of. under your pets info should be 8 buttons find the one that says return and click it
