My kodak easyshare C143 will not upload pictures to my computer, when i put the USB into the computer it just brings up a ad for Easyshare in which i already have, HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I would just take the media out of the camera and plug it into the computer. This will save your camera batteries too. If your computer doesn't have the media ports you can buy a USB media reader like this one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2205150&pagenumber=0&RSort=4&csid=ITD&recordsPerPage=5&body=&SRCCODE=WEBGOOKWL&cm_mmc_o=mH4CjC7BBTkwCjCECjCE for $14.99

Internal Memory is full

Move the pictures to your computer. Then you should erase everything on it. You can do that from your computer.

I want to take the photos that I have in kodak file and copy them to flash dirve.

sheri359,

If you are using Kodaks easyshare program then you can simply "drag & drop" the pictures onto your flash drive. You can also trying looking on your "C: drive" (hard drive) for your pictures. Normally Kodak Easyshare stores pictures at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Shared Pictures\Kodak Pictures. Once you find your pictures all you need to do is select all the pictures you want to copy and paste them into your flash drive.

If the pictures are on your camera then connect your camera to the computer and then click on "My Computer" on your desktop or under the start menu (if you are using Windows). Then if a few seconds you should see a drive pop up that will say "Kodak*****", proceed to double click on that and keep clicking into the folders until you see your pictures. Once you see your pictures copy all of them. Once copied open up "My Computer" again and select your flash drive. Once inside your flash drive then right click in the window and select "paste". Your pictures should start copying over to your flash drive. Once the copying it complete you are the safe to remove your flash drive.

Note: I am assuming that you are using a Microsoft Windows operating system. If you are using MAC OS X then it is slightly different but similar.
I hope this helps! Good luck!

When transfering pictures from camera to PC EasyShare will not transfer some pictures. "picture already exists" in My Collection. These are all new pictures taken with blank memory card. This occurs even...

Scrap the camera! Kodak hasn't and won't address the problem. Most picture download software won't recognize the camera. The only solution is to remove the memory card from the camera, put it in USB adapter and treat it like a flash drive. Cumbersome. Awkward. Stupid. After you scrap the ****, tell your friends so they don't make the mistake of buying a Kodak.

I Been trying to move my pictures from my kodak easyshare to my pictures in my computer for days now.Is there anyone out there who can help me out? Thanks,JimmyJoe

The original pictures are saved under your C-Drive and not under Easyshare.

1: Go into my documents
2: Find the location of the camera and your pictures
3: Drag and drop from the camera to the computer

Go to the following Kodak site and download the latest EasyShare software to your PC.

http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=130&CID=go&idhbx=easysharesw&pq-locale=en_GB&_requestid=4162

Install the software then reboot the PC. Once rebooted plug in your camera to your PC then switch on the camera. The Kodak EasyShare application will see you camera and then go though an initial setup for your specific camera. Just accept all the default options and then when this is finished the software will download all your camera contents to a folder on your PC. You then select SAVE and then you can wipe al the pictures from your camera and then unplug it and switch it off ready to take more pictures. Each time you plug in the camera to the PC in future the download sequence will automatically start for you. Read the help file with the application and you can do more things with it.

It is all very straightforward.

Cant download photos from kodak c613 camera to ps3

Hello. I have the same problem with my Kodak EasyShare C653 on my 40GB PS3. I am sorry to announce it is not compatible with the PS3.
If you have a different version of the PS3 (unlike my 40GB), you may be able to use your SD card on your PS3.
If this doesn't work, download the pictures onto a computer. Transfer the pictures or video to a flash drive (USB key), and upload to your PS3.

This error message means that the preferences in EasyShare software are set to save pictures to the CD-ROM drive or some drive other than your hard drive. To correct this, follow these steps: Start EasyShare software. Select Tools > Preferences. Select the Transfer tab. Below "Select the location on your hard disk where you want to copy transferred pictures," select Browse. Browse to the desired location on the hard drive where you want to transfer your pictures.
