Take out spark plugs. Put some gas down the holes (about a tablespoon), Try and start it obviously with the plugs back in and the key on. If it starts you have a problem with the carb. Check fuel level, check for clogged filter, etc. sometimes just turning the carb jets a half turn either way may break free a small particle of dirt (always mark jets so they are put back where they belong). Also when the plugs are out make sure you still have spark by attaching to the spark plug wire and putting the spark plug on a bolt from the machine. Give it a pull and make sure you can see a good blue coloured spark on the electrode end. If not it may need new plugs.
try this stuff and see what happens. Good luck.
