Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
Sounds like a problem in the LCD assembly - either the fluorescent tube, or the inverter. You can get a replacement screen on ebay for about $50-100, they are not too difficult to replace. Dell has detailed service instructions available on their site. Good luck!
