Question about Lucent PARTNER18 Corded Phone
I'm guessing the old Lucent Technologies 7311H14b telephone is not caller ID ready, but my boss recently bought an old veterinary office that has the whole system ready to go (we haven't yet gotten a phone number yet.) We will need to have caller ID - are there any pass-through units that will work on this? (there used to be little thingies you would put on your home phone to see the ID come through).
Also, please forgive if this is a real idiotic question - but can I use an ISP to provide my telephone service with this set?
Thanks in advance!
Yes you can get stand alone caller ID units, they simply plug into the main line in phone jack. BTW, If you have a modem in your PC you can also then use it as a telephone "anything" Call center, answer-phone, voice-mail, and of course Caller ID. A lot of the software is freeware available on the 'net for download and install.
