If running XP. Turn laptop on and keep pressing F8. once you get to the options, start in safe mode and there is a hidden admin account. log into that and remove the password from her account
you can go into the administrator name by turning on the computer and at the first screen (acer boot screen) press F8 and hold until a menu appears then select safe mode then press enter once booted select the administrator and go into control panle user accounts your name you normaly use and click remove passwords
If you are truly referring to the Administrator account and not an account with Administrator privileges and added a password and have forgotten, the only alternative is to reinstall the operating system.
If you are referring to an account with Administrator privileges, access the Administrator account via Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly upon booting) and login with Administrator and no password. Go to Control Panel - User Accounts and reset the user's password.
Boot into safe mode (F8 on startup) and let windows load, look under Users and you'll find your account has magically reappeared. Change the Sellers account back to an administrator and then reboot. Your account will then be visable again on normal boot up.
try put F8 into safty model, then login in as administrator account, see if you can login, and change the new password.

If you are running Vista, You can System restore from your recovery disk or from the recovery options stored on your hard drive at start up. Restore far enough back as to ensure it was before you applied a password. Hopefully you'll get away without having to wipe an reconfig the OS.
Hello,
Try booting to safe mode. Press f8 upon powering the computer. It will bring you to a screen of startup options. Select safe mode. When it reaches the login screen, the administrator account will be visible as well as the other account you need the password for. Hopefully there is no password for administrator. Try logging in to the administrator account with no password. If this works, then you are lucky. You can now go into control panel, user accounts and select the user account that has the new password. You can then change the password to a new one.
