Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
I have what I believe is an after market alarm system on my Jeep Wrangler (02) ... this alarm system was disabled to the best of my knowledge... I had to replace the battery and now the alarm system keeps going off and attempting to start the Jeep with the ignition key will not stop the alarm nor start the Jeep any help is appreciated
There is a small toggle switch that you have to find out usually this switch is installed under the dash and when you find it put the car key in the ignition switch and turn it to the ON position and move the toggle switch position until you here a beep, some of the aftermarket alarms bring a push button switch, if this is the case just keep press it until you here the siren beep and does it, this way you are disconnecting the alarm or in another words your alarm is in a valet mode.
