Question about Televison & Video
Help! My Hitachi is a 42HDS52A. Great TV, except I can't get PIP to work. Is it true that when the main picture is a digital channel, you can't get the PIP from a different digital channel - that it has to be an "air" signal? Seems silly. TV is 2-3 years old. Paid too much for it not to be able to use PIP function. Any help you can give would be appreciated!
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

SOURCE: Digital Tv is stuck on a channel
I have found the solution at last :)
Put the TV in standby and press these buttons in order
Info, Menu, Mute and Power on.
You will then see a hidden menu, on line 12 select reset

SOURCE: My JVC PIP Won't work, pls help!
I was told that in order to view 2 different channels at the same time u have to subscribe to SKYCable and use the digital input instead of the antenna input and the antenna input you will have to use the regular antenna since there is only one tuner in the TV

I was having same problem, and think I got lucky and found fix.
Try unplugging the TV and waiting 30 seconds, then plug back in.
You will likely get blue screen with "No Signal".
Go to Menu, then scroll down to "Setup". Select "Factory Reset" then hit "Yes."
This did it for me. Wish you all luck.
