Does this happen when you are printing off the web or anytime? In explorer you can click the little arrow next to the printer icon.A drop down will give you a couple of options,Print Preview is the one you want. With it you can see what is or isn't being printed. You can pick any or all the pages, change from portrait to landscape,do multiples, double sided, put 2 pages on one,it's pretty easy to do too.I always do the print preview,it saves on ink as well as paper.

My Printer started randomly printing blank pages when looking for color. Prints color every now and again, but generally blank. Prints fine when I set to Black/white only.

It is more likely that the settings need to be changed on a print job to job basis in the program you are generating the content from. There are usually defaults set in the software and you need to check these settings every time you print.

if your printer is already, click file -> print, then do you hear the voice from printer. if not, your printer is not boot.
and you said your preview is blank. you not load the page with content. I guess you don't have the right to print it.

HP color laserjet 2840 for Mac -- Pages print but are totally blank. Appreciate if you can advice A.S.A.P

Pages print but are totally blank.
  • The sealing tape might still be in the
    print cartridges.
Solution "Verify that the sealing tape has been
completely removed from the print
cartridges."

  • The document might contain blank
    pages.
Solution "Check the document that you are
printing to see if content appears on all
of the pages."
  • The device might be malfunctioning.
Solution "To check the device, print a
Configuration page."

My HP Photosmart printer was printing just fine until I had to change ink cartridges. Now it won't print anything, it just spits out a blank page.

Sometimes your printer print blanks pages, if your printer is out of ink. You can check the quantity of ink in the status of the printer. Sometimes, your printer displays messages if it is out of ink. So if you are facing such issues, you need to refill the ink in your printer. Communication problem with the printer and computer is also a reason for printing blank pages.

Print on used paper?

No,not that I know or heard of the only problem I'm sure of is you may get more jammed paper if you re-use scratch paper.
Paper has a certain moisture content and once you print on it the moisture is gone giving you a drier paper, runing it through more than once causes the paper to curl thus giving jams.

What program are you printing from? I noticed that sometimes IE7 will print screen content the way you described. The only work-around I have is to copy and paste the content to Word (or other word processor), and format it accordingly.
