We really need more information before anyone could attempt to help with this problem. However my feeling is that if any machine suddenly started making a really unusual noise, it's most likely caused by something that needs the attention of a professional machine repair person.

Machine will not move fabric along when trying to sew unless lifting pressure foot recently purchased recently at Hancock's store in Huntsville Al . Store closed down.

Your machine should be warrantied by the brand name, ie Singer, et al. Even if the store that sold the machine is gone, it should still be covered.

Check the manual for the presser foot pressure adjustment. Most machines have this which allows the user to adapt the pressure to the type of fabric being sewn. Thicker fabric will require less pressure than thin fabric like silk. Sounds like the pressure may be set too high.

Hi, my brand new 7258 Singer Stylist sewing machine screeches too much. I've cleaned it, oiled (Singer oil) it and changed the needle three times already, following brand instructions. Still screeching too...

Without being able to personally troubleshoot, analyze, and diagnose the screeching, no one is going to be able to solve the problem.

That said, for your understsnding of the gravity of the situation, I provide the following info and warnings!!!!!

Loud screeching like you describe is INDICATIVE OF either a pulley-belt joint slipping at very high speed, OR a BEARING in a high speed application binding, NEITHER OF WHICH IS GOOD!!!!!

To prevent possible total destruction of your machine, I strongly suggest the you unplug it UNTIL you can get it to a QUALIFIED repair TECHNICIAN for troubleshooting.

The symptoms you describe are indicative of a very serious problem which could result in severe damage to your machine!

Embroidery arm does not work

Sounds like the embroidery arm belt stop is out of adjustment. Unless you're pretty handy, take the machine and arm to a professional. If you're going to tackle it yourself, get a service manual for the machine.

I have a new Brother se400. Recently, when I am embroidering, the machine is picking up the white bobbin thread and either stitching the entire design in the bobbin thread or putting colored thread in the...

Sound s like top tension too high, bobbin tension too loose, or a needle issue - dull or incorrect one for the fabric.
Change the needle, check tensions.
Have you stabilised the fabric?

Sewing machine is making screeching noise

If you are hearing screeching it could be a worn belt. Or it could be that your EP needs servicing (oil and lube)

Screeching noise

have you tried a new needle--flat side to the back of the machine
check to see if the thread has come off the thread take up lever
it's also possible that there's something wrong with the motor since it sounds a bit loud
it probably needs to be serviced

Makes a loud screeching sound when I sew.

I think it's time to oil your machine. Take a look at you user's manual and clear out any lint (fluff) before adding special sewing machine oil to the moving parts.
