Question about Mitsubishi WS-55809 55" Rear Projection Television
My granddaughter decided to draw on our screen with a paper clip and now the diamond shield has scratches all over it. Where can I find one so I can replace it myself.
My Mitsubishi Diamond Sheild also had scratches on it, and I solved the problem at no cost by taking some automotive wax, and hand-polishing the shield with a smooth rag (old t-shirt works great!) Leave it right on the television, no need to take it off.
HINT: Don't leave wax on too long, and just do a small section at a time.

Contact Mitsubishi Group of America and order the part. Unfortunately, they are not cheap, I'm sorry to say....accordianman
