Ecollier2012... this isn't even a projection set. does not even have convergance in this set. looks to me like a main board problem or light engine. i'm startin with the main board first... upgrading firmware did not help.

My Philips tv 60PL9200-37 has sound, but NO picture. The front blue light flashes 6 times slow,pause,5 times fast. Once in a blue moon picture and sound are ok. What could be wrong?

Hello,

When your television actually flashes the front blue light, it is passing a message that there is a problem inside the unit. There are 2 things you should check but my best bet is that it is the t-con board of the television that is bad. The other component you can check is the lamp, but if the lamp is faulty you will not be getting sound therefore the problem is from the t-con board.

It is located by the middle of the main panel of the television, once you get it replaced, the television will be in good shape.

Take care and good luck

We have a Philips 60 inch tv,model#60pl9200/37 when you plug it in the light just keep on blinking and nothing else happens, what do you think might be the problem

The power supply section of your unit is still working. However, there could be a problem of the other circuit next to it blocking the current to normally flow throughout the circuit. Better call for a qualified technician to open and fix it.

Color

see if there is a "default" option, if not set everything back to the middle, if the colors are still off you sure its not the convergence?
most big screens allow you to change "color temperature" it's like a default adjustment for 3 different brightness levels.... ie...COOL, WARM picture will show obvious changes in brightness

Color setting

MOST likely, use remote [maybe set] for <menu[setup]> <video>. This is normally where <brightness><contrast><color> and so forth live.

Hi, www.Retrevo.com has original User Guides (for tons of things) in PDF format you can download for FREE. They don't need any personal info from you at all.
If i'm not mistaken you need the Philips 60PL9200D User Guide
(don't worry about that "D").
Try this direct link to the User Guide i think you need( i hope it works)
